Georges Soyka was born in 1988 in Luxembourg City.

From 2007 to 2013 he studied classical trumpet at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Karslruhe, Germany with Ptof. Reinhold Friedrich and got his Master’s degree of classical trumpet in 2013.

Followed by a Master’s degree in jazz trumpet with Ruud Breuls at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2015, Georges was playing in numerous jazz bands and touring Germany, France, The UK during the following years.

Since 2020 Georges is a professor for classical trumpet and chamber music at the Conservatoire of Luxembourg City and continues playing classical and jazz music as well as many other styles with different orchestras and bands, such as the Minor Majors, Orkester Konterbont, 7 Moukekingen and many others.
