Laurent Lemaire: tenor trombone & bass trombone.

He started playing the trombone at the Clervaux music school. He then continued his studies at the Conservatoire du Nord (Ettelbruck) and at the Royal Conservatory of Liège. A member of the Luxembourg Military Band since 2008 on the tenor trombone, Laurent has since developed an increasingly deep admiration for the bass trombone.

It was then in 2018 that Laurent joined Mr. Vincent Debès' class at the Luxembourg City Conservatory on bass trombone. He completed his studies in 2021 with a Superior Prize.

In 2020 Laurent won 3rd Prize at the IPV international competition in Saarbrücken.

He has played several times with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège and the orchestra of the Royal Opera of Wallonia-Liège.

In addition to his activities in the military band, Laurent is a teacher at the Clervaux music school (UGDA).
