SERGE SCHONCKERT
As a trained singer, actor, and dancer, Serge’s journey began with classical music studies and classical singing at Luxembourg music schools, followed by musical theater studies in Osnabrück, Germany, and ultimately led to London, England. Here, he completed his Master of Arts in Performing Arts at the renowned „Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.“
Serge is a highly regarded artist on various stages and is regularly seen at gala, jazz, and musical events. He has been involved in numerous Big Band projects, including collaborations with the Luxembourg Jazz Orchestra, the Military Music Big Band, Big Band Opus78, and notably the jazz project „Queen Swings!“ in partnership with the LJO, which reimagined the music of the legendary rock group Queen in a completely new Big Band jazz style.
Among his notable stage appearances are leading roles such as Judas in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical „Jesus Christ Superstar“, Pluto (the Devil) in Jacques Offenbach’s operetta „Orpheus in the Underworld“, Leopold in Ralph Benatzky’s operetta „Im Weißen Rössl“, and many other stage projects, including musical revue shows like „Titanic – The Original Cruisical Show“ and „Showboat“.
In addition to his stage performances, Serge works as a director, vocal coach, lecturer in modern singing and musical workshops, jury member, studio recording artist, and provides artistic guidance for stage projects.
